Sarah Johnson

1. How are you coping during this second lock down?
I am feeling challenged by the juggling of helping the kids, particularly Hannah in prep, with school work

and also getting our shop on the web and starting to fill orders! It has been a very steep learning curve!

2. What is your view on wearing a mask?
It is a very easy thing to do that benefits all of us hugely. I don't see what all the fuss is about to be honest

ha! ha!

3. Have you been to the testing station at LinC in Yarra Junction (or anywhere else for that matter
If so, what was that experience like?)

No thankfully I haven't. In the first lockdown, Hannah and Daniel both had the test done at the doctor's surgery. They said it wasn't comfortable but was very quick.

4. How have you been amusing yourself?
I have been making an effort to spend quality time with the kids, baking is something we have enjoyed

doing together. Walking on the sunny days has been a welcome change too.

5. What have you missed?
I miss seeing family and friends, particularly birthdays and other celebrations. Other than that my life is

not all that different, maybe I was a bit boring before ha! ha!

6. What is a positive for you right now?
I am pursuing the ferocious fight of faith, as Lana Vawser puts it, to not allow the enemy to have any

foothold in my hope. I truly believe our God is planning amazing days ahead for us. I am ferociously

guarding that place of faith, despite our circumstances, and leaning in to Jesus.

7. What does the future look like for you?

Not sure ??

8. Are you watching more TV this time if so, what is your “go to” program?

I am rewatching the entire series of Nashville, a drama about country music artists. I also like the new

season of Escape from the City. I already watch too much TV though!

9. Do you have any words of encouragement for your RVC family?
Take heart, He has overcome the world! We will see God's glory like we have never seen upon the earth.

Right now is the perfect time to show him your faithfulness and commitment to Him and His plans for

what is coming next. Spend more time sitting with Him, and let him capture your heart in a way that is deeper than you have experienced before.

10.  What prayer do you find praying these days
"Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous

way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!"
Psalm 139:23-24 ESV
God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything

that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting ways— the path that brings

me back to you.
Psalms 139:23‭-‬24 TPT

Thank you Sarah
